Friends in Christ Weekly Message
July 19, 2008

But you, O God, are both tender and kind,
not easily angered, immense in love,
     and you never, never quit.

Psalm 86:15 (Message*)

It's easy to get discouraged, due to both the evil we see in the world and our own shortcomings. But we have a powerful reason to hope in the nature of our God.

Our God is filled with love, tender and kind, and patient with us rather than angry. We humans do so much that disappoints God, and yet God never quits on us.

Do you live with a sense of God's amazing love? Are you able to find hope in any situation because you know you can count on God in the end?

Bill Samuel
