But I wipe away your sins because of who I am. And so, I will forget the wrongs you have done.
Isaiah 43:25 (CEV*)
We have a forgiving God. That is in His very nature. God forgives us not because we have become so good, but because He loves us so much.
God forgets our wrongs. He just doesn't want to think of us in terms of where we have fallen short. God thinks of all we can be, and He loves us without limit.
Do we live in the awareness of the depth of God's love for us? Do we respond to God's love with our love for Him? Do we allow God to live within us and transform us so that our desire to do wrong will be taken away?
