You would confound the plans of the poor,
     but the LORD is their refuge.
Psalm 14:6 (NRSV*)

Throughout the scriptures, the Lord's concern for the poor appears over and over again. This concern is repeated many times in both the Old and New Testaments.

Do we share God's concern for the poor? How do we show that in the way we live?
